Damaged areas are repaired and treated using a range of abrasives and foundation filler and primer materials to establish a sound, flawless surface. The base colour is then matched, mixed and sprayed, followed by the final stage application of a UV inhibiting, high durability clear coat to give a seamless, deep gloss, chip and scratch resistant protective finish.
We also restore exterior plastic pieces such as wheel arch trims, bumper inserts, lip and roof spoilers, diffusers, grilles and fog light surrounds. This involves heating and reforming misshapen components, patching and filling utilising rapid set plastic compound. Hot stapling or joint welding to reinforce splits and cracks and the removal of scrapes, kinks, cuts and gouges. The repair is then skimmed with a specific flexible plastic filler, smoothed or retextured as appropriate, coated with an adhesion promoter and colour matched to the body or original plastic colour, reproducing the factory finish.
